Fabulique

Fabulique was started as a blog for me (Ann) to journal design inspiration. It has grown into much more. The list includes: design, photography, interior design, fashion, fine art, poetry, web design and weddings (to name just a few). It reflects my creative brain and what is currently inspiring me. I hope you are inspired as well, and return frequently =]

It is amazing how World War II had a permanent impact on fashion. Due to France's involvement in the war, New York designers were cut off from Paris haute couture and thus led the US to becoming the sportswear capitol of the world! Women dramatically entered the workforce, and styles they adopted for their jobs are emerging as fixtures for spring 2010. See more 1940's styles that are sure to peak out this spring on the Urban Outfitters blog
