I came across this website while searching for web design inspiration, and fell in love with the content on the site as well. My Little Fabric is a site featuring the work of a French Art Director of Graphic Design, who also happens to be a food stylist and photographer. Drool! I feel like it is the French doppleganger of myself! Her style is totally what I am striving for, and have done at times (both design and photography). She is very inspiring. Now, if only she would translate the rest of her site to English so I could understand what she was saying. I can't even figure out what her name is because her "About" section is soon coming. Maybe I should just learn French? Oh lala.

I love flowers! The problem with flowers though, is that they eventually die. I don't know about you, but I actually feel a little bit guilty when I buy a beautiful bouquet of flowers only to let it wither and die a week or two later. I also have developed allergies in my adult life, and some flowers will trigger them! Sad, I know. Anyways, this is why I was so excited to come across these gorgeous flowers made of silk, on Silk Flowers Warehouse! I have been fooled by artificial flowers enough times in my life to know that this is the perfect solution for my desire to surround my home with beautiful flowers all the time. Not only that, but artificial plants and trees are a great idea for someone like myself with a black thumb...

How adorable are these trees and plants?? They look 100% real to me. There are so many benefits to artificial trees and plants: they require no upkeep, they won't ever outgrow your home and they live forever! I just might have to put one of these little guys on my "to buy" list.

How adorable are these 1950's inspired bathing suits at Anthropologie?? One piece suits are definitely making a come back, which I'm loving!

It seems Spring has arrived.. and I couldn't be happier. It is my favorite season. I think Spring is like a Friday.. so much to look forward to. Warm weather, beach time, vacations, lazy sunshine happy times. I always thought of Fall was like a Sunday. It's nice and enjoyable, but you know that there is something looming around the corner (Monday-WINTER)!
I apologize for not blogging as much. I have been ever so busy. I also started up my photo blog, which I have been putting my spare time into. As some of you know, I am a Graphic Designer but also a Photographer. I love both things and want to continue doing both for the rest of my life, but it does require more time and attention. I also have been doing a lot of Pinning and Instagramming (you need to download the app on your phone). You guys can follow me there too!

As always, I love the photography from the Anthropologie lookbooks (January shown). I also love the dresses, skirts and blouses!

Holiday card designs for my sister. Aren't my nephews just the cutest things ever? There's a third boy on the way, due in January. I can't wait to take some newborn photos of him! Which card do you like, color or black and white? She went with color. Photos all by me, ah photography.

Oh my! Have I been ever so busy. It's a good thing I suppose, but I can't seem to catch up! I'm looking forward to February. Here is a holiday card I just designed for Moondance Jewelry in LA. The photo is stock.. not mine.. adorable though, right?

I had the pleasure of shooting another blonde haired blue eyed beauty last weekend by the Potomac waterfront in Alexandria, VA. Little Miss Marin was oh so photogenic! If you know anyone that needs newborns, kids, pets or maternity photos in the D.C. Metro area.. send them my way (Ann Hennessy photography).

Happy Friday! I've been super busy lately with web design, some print projects, photography.. and my latest project is fashion illustrations. I came across this talented little French fashion illustrator, Antoinette Fleur while looking for inspiration. Whimsical & dreamy! Can I move to France please?
